Broadcast Boffins was founded in 1989 by Ralph Skendzic to provide high class engineering services to the broadcast industry.

Built on quality service, the business quickly established and extended its service offering to include bench and field support for a wide variety of broadcast and commercial audio visual products as well as system design and consultation.

At the beginning of 2005, the company embarked on an expansion, which included a move to new premises in Port Melbourne. A part of this expansion was the establishment of a second brand, Resonant Technologies, to focus on system integration and equipment sales. The Resonant philosophy includes strategic alliances with a number of equipment suppliers and system development partners.

As a result, the Resonant / Boffins team offers our clients a wealth of technical knowledge, and a “full service” experience that spans consultancy, design, installation, and in-house or on-site support.
